COSTA FLORES Y RUTA NACIONAL 7, PERDRIEL
LUJAN DE CUYO
History
Founded in 1890
Bodega Sottano sits in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, along National Route 7, in the heart of Mendoza wine country. It was founded in 1890 by Italian immigrant Fioravante Sottano and is now run by the family's fourth generation. The property spans 15,000 square meters of landscaped gardens with native plants around a small lagoon, and production capacity reaches 925,000 liters, aged in more than 1,500 French and Hungarian oak barrels in underground cellars. Visitors tour the winemaking process and taste wines from the Sottano, Fioravante, and Reserva de Familia lines, made from malbec, cabernet sauvignon, torrontés, and chardonnay, among other varietals. The winery also offers an Argentine grilled-meat lunch among the vines and, on select evenings, its Petit Infierno cabaret show. Visits are arranged by WhatsApp or through its online booking system, Monday to Saturday from midday.
