History

Founded in 2000

Bodega Zolo — long publicised as Bodega Tapiz — sits on Finca Las Llamas at Ruta Provincial 15 km 32, Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, and belongs to the Fincas Patagónicas group (Tapiz, Zolo, Wapisa). Built in 2000, it is the group's largest production facility: two million litres of tank capacity, 1,300 oak barrels, vertical and hydropneumatic presses and its own bottling line. The visit runs about two hours and includes a carriage ride through the vineyards (subject to availability), time with the resident llamas, a technical walk through the tanks and barrel room, tastings of bottled wines plus samples drawn from tank and barrel, and an olive oil tasting. Tours run Monday to Saturday in Spanish and English, by prior WhatsApp booking; there is a shop. The Tapiz label itself is now made at Finca San Pablo, Valle de Uco.
