Founded in 1798
Bodega Navarro Correas traces its roots to Juan de Dios Correas, who planted vines in Mendoza in 1798; the modern brand launched in 1974 and has belonged to Grupo Peñaflor since it was bought from Diageo in 2015. The company runs two facilities: the urban winery in Godoy Cruz, in the industrial belt minutes from downtown Mendoza, and Finca Agrelo (Ruta 15, km 35, Luján de Cuyo), opened in 2009 for its premium ranges. Visitors are received at the Godoy Cruz site, whose 800 m² visitor centre holds a wine bar, two tasting rooms and an art space. The tour covers the winery's history, tank hall and cava, and ends with a guided tasting. Booking ahead is compulsory; visits run Monday to Friday at 10, 12 and 15. Core lines are Colección Privada, Navarro Correas Reserva, Alegoría and the sparkling wines.
