History

Founded in 1901

Luigi Bosca was founded in 1901 by Leoncio Arizu in Luján de Cuyo and is still run by the Arizu family, now in its fourth generation. Its vineyards are spread across Luján de Cuyo, Maipú and the Uco Valley, with Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay at the core of the range. Visits take place at Finca El Paraíso (Ruta 60, Fray Luis Beltrán, Maipú, 720 m above sea level), the family property bought in 1926 and open to the public since 2022. The Raíces experience walks the historic vineyards with an audio guide, then adds a four-wine tasting and lunch by chef Pablo del Río: the Canasta option is an outdoor basket lunch in the gardens, while Fuegos moves between the open-fire grill and the greenhouse. Offered daily in Spanish, English and Portuguese, with advance booking and prepayment.
