Casa del Visitante is the visitor centre and restaurant of Bodega Santa Julia, the Familia Zuccardi estate in Maipú, on Ruta Provincial 33 km 7.5. It opened in 2004 and works as the gateway to the winery: guided tours of the cellar and vineyards with tastings of wines from the different Santa Julia lines, plus a dining room looking out over the vines and the Andes. Food options include a regional menu built around empanadas, grilled meats and local cheeses, a seasonal tasting menu of several courses, and a picnic served in the gardens. The estate also runs cooking classes, a cocktail class using Malamado fortified wine, vineyard bike rides and grape harvesting in February and March. Every activity requires booking 24 hours in advance.
