Founded in 1888
A winery in Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo, founded in 1888 by Italian immigrants and bought in 1969 by the Nieto and Senetiner families; since 1998 it has belonged to Molinos Río de la Plata. Its colonial house sits inside Finca Villa Blanca (950 m above sea level), whose oldest Malbec blocks were planted in 1900. The portfolio covers Malbec, Bonarda, Cabernet Franc, Semillón and sparkling wines made by both the charmat and champenoise methods. Visits are booked through the winery's own reservation system and range from a short tour with a glass to a tasting of four premium labels with a cheese board; tours run in Spanish and English. The on-site restaurant serves lunch Monday to Saturday, à la carte or three-course. Closed Sundays.
