Founded in 1959

Bodega Chandon sits in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, on Ruta Provincial 15 at km 29, and was founded in 1959. Part of the LVMH group, it makes sparkling wine only, built on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with Malbec added to its Cuvée Brut Nature Rosé. The Classic Visit runs 1 hr 15 min through the vineyard, winemaking area, tanks and the brick underground cellar, and closes with a tasting of three sparkling wines; the Premium Visit adds a four-label tasting in the cellar, reached by stairs only. Tours are given in Spanish, English and Portuguese, and advance booking through the winery's official system is required. The French-inspired gardens host Bistró Chandon, an Argentine picada and a picnic option. Visitors aged 12 and over may join tours, without tasting.
