History
Founded in 1914
Grupo Peñaflor S.A. is Argentina's largest wine group and one of the ten largest wine producers in the world, exporting to more than 90 countries. Founded in 1914, it brings together century-old wineries including Trapiche (1883), Finca Las Moras, El Esteco, Navarro Correas, Mascota Vineyards and Suter, with roughly 2,800 employees and over 3,200 productive hectares. Its administrative headquarters is in Vicente López, Buenos Aires, not Mendoza. This registry entry corresponds to Grupo Peñaflor's registered fiscal address in Coquimbito, Maipú (Nueva Mayorga s/n), which matches the site where the Bodega Trapiche visitor complex operates, one of Mendoza's most-visited winery buildings. However, tours, tastings and reservations at that site are managed under the Trapiche brand (trapiche.com.ar), not under Grupo Peñaflor's corporate site, which publishes no tourism program of its own. Because of this, no verified visiting offer is recorded here.
