History

Founded in 2003

Bodega Finca Agostino, now marketed as Agostino under the Agostino Wine Group umbrella, sits at Carril Barrancas 10590 in the Barrancas district of Maipú, Mendoza. It was founded by the Agostino family, four brothers who spent their childhood in Mendoza before relocating to Canada in the 1960s and returned in 2003 to acquire vineyards in Maipú. The estate houses the winery, barrel cellar, tasting rooms, an art gallery, and the Casa Agostino hospitality complex, which includes an Argentine-Italian restaurant, a wood-fired Neapolitan pizzeria, and guest lodging. Wines are produced mainly from malbec, cabernet sauvignon, and chardonnay across the Legado, Familia, Estate, and Casa Agostino lines. The same family group also owns Alfa Crux (formerly O. Fournier) in Uco Valley, acquired in 2018, and Bodega Telteca, making Finca Agostino the group's original property and headquarters rather than a separate, unrelated winery.
