History

Founded in 2002

Tempus Alba is the family winery of the Biondolillos, fifth-generation Mendoza grape growers, built in 2002 in Coquimbito, Maipú, on the Wine Route about 25 km from Mendoza city. It is one of the classic stops on the Coquimbito circuit that visitors ride by bicycle, minutes from the district's other wineries and artisan food producers. The house makes Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, Syrah and a Malbec rosé from its own vineyards in Maipú, Luján de Cuyo and Tupungato. You can visit free and self-guided, following explanatory signs through the cellar, the Malbec mother-vine plot and the olive grove, from 11:00 to 16:00 with no booking; or take a guided tour with tasting, which must be reserved. Upstairs, the winebar terrace faces the vineyards and the Andes, and Restaurant Patio Tempus serves lunch Monday to Saturday.
