Founded in 1991
MEVI is a boutique winery in Maipú, Mendoza, at the foot of the Andes, at Av. Perito Moreno 1751. It was founded in 1991 by Oscar Vignart and Rolando Meninato, who developed roughly 12 hectares of vineyard and built a modern winery that opened in 2010. MEVI produces varietal and aged wines from Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, plus a Cabernet Sauvignon rosé and an author blend released under its Vignart label. The winery welcomes visitors Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Sundays and holidays on request), for guided tours of the vineyard and production hall followed by a tasting. The property has two terraces overlooking the vineyard and mountains, a climate-controlled hall for fifty people, and its own restaurant with a tasting menu or a la carte. Visits are arranged by email or WhatsApp.
