History
Founded in 2008
Corazón del Sol is a boutique winery in the Los Chacayes district of Tunuyán, in Mendoza's Uco Valley, founded by vintner Dr. Revana to produce Argentina's first Rhône-varietal wines. Its 17 acres of estate vineyards, planted from 2008 at roughly 1,036 to 1,097 meters above sea level, combine Bordeaux varieties (Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot) with Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. The first wine, Luminoso, was released from the 2011 vintage; the estate earned organic certification in 2023, and winemaker Luciano Bastías took over that year. Visits are by advance reservation only, offering 90-minute guided tastings in a tasting room facing the Andes, plus a second 'Cava' tasting location in Mendoza City.
