History
Founded in 1920
Bodega Dante Robino is a family winery founded in 1920 in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, on sandy-loam, stony soils at the foot of the Andes, roughly 950 meters above sea level. Its story began in 1910, when Piedmont-born Dante Robino opened a restaurant in Buenos Aires and started bottling his own wines; the winery itself was formalized a decade later and expanded its facilities in 1945. Since 2020 it has been part of Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes. It produces mainly Malbec, along with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Bonarda, Petit Verdot, Syrah and Torrontés, across lines such as Gran Dante, Legado, Dante Robino, Nave and Novecento, plus sparkling wines. The winery welcomes visitors for guided tours and tastings, with reservations recommended through its online booking platform, and reopened its restaurant, Dante, in 2023, serving regional cuisine with views of the vineyards and the Cordón del Plata mountains.
