History
Founded in 1920
Giménez Riili is a fourth-generation family boutique winery in Los Chacayes, Tunuyán, set inside The Vines of Mendoza Winemaker's Village on Ruta 94 km 11 in the Uco Valley. The family has made wine in Mendoza since 1920; the winery now has a 200,000-litre capacity and builds its reputation on Malbec and Cabernet Franc grown on stony soils at roughly 1,100 metres. Visits pair a guided vineyard and cellar walk with tank and barrel tastings and a Blending Game, offered in Spanish, English and Portuguese. The estate also runs a restaurant led by executive chef Sebastián Juez, with four- or six-course menus and an à la carte list, live-music sunset events, a spa and relax area, and an eight-room guest house. Everything is booked by WhatsApp.
