History
Founded in 2007
Casarena sits at Brandsen 505 in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, about 20 minutes from Mendoza city, inside a 1937 winery building that was fully refurbished for the current project. It calls itself an interpreter of the Luján de Cuyo terroir and a Single Vineyard specialist: every wine comes from four estate vineyards — Jamilla in Perdriel (940 m) plus Naoki, Lauren and Owen in Agrelo — all vegan and sustainability certified and in conversion to organic. The portfolio runs from 505 and Estate through Appellation Agrelo, Sinergy Vineyard Blends, Single Vineyard and DNA. The visitor centre opens daily 09:00–17:00 for guided tastings in Spanish, English and Portuguese, from the short Visita Express to the DNA flight. On site are the Savia Cocina Casarena restaurant and the Casa Naoki guest house.
