Founded in 1998

RJ Viñedos is a family-run winery founded in 1998 by Raúl Joffré in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, a short drive from Mendoza city at the foot of the Andes. It occupies a restored 1940 building set among century-old Carolino trees protected as provincial heritage. Under its flagship labels, Joffré e Hijas and Pasión 4, RJ produces wines from its own vineyards at varying altitudes across Mendoza, led by Malbec alongside Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Bonarda, Chardonnay and Torrontés. Most of the production is exported. Visits run Monday to Saturday by prior reservation: a guided tour through the winery's history and winemaking process ends with a premium tasting, with options ranging from a wine-and-chocolate pairing to a private session hosted by founder Raúl Joffré himself.
