History
Founded in 2005
Bodega DiamAndes sits in Vista Flores, Tunuyán, in Mendoza's Uco Valley, on a single 130-hectare block at 1,100 metres above sea level inside the Clos de los Siete project. It was started in 2005 by the Bonnie family, owners of Châteaux Malartic-Lagravière and Gazin Rocquencourt in Bordeaux, and has produced wine since the 2007 harvest in a gravity-fed winery; the vineyard was certified organic in 2022. Its ranges are Grande Reserve, DiamAndes de Uco and Perlita, built on Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Chardonnay and Viognier. Visits run Wednesday to Sunday by prior booking: a 90-minute guided tour taking in La Cripta with a tasting served with regional cheeses, a short no-tasting tour, and paired lunches at the DIAM'S Bistrot & Bar à Vin restaurant.
