History

Founded in 2002

Pulenta Estate is a family winery in Alto Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, founded in 2002 by brothers Eduardo and Hugo Pulenta, the fourth generation of a family linked to Argentine winegrowing since 1902. It farms two estate vineyards: Finca La Zulema in Agrelo, planted in 1992 at 980 metres above sea level and home to the winery itself, and Viñedos Don Antonio in Los Árboles, Tunuyán. The range covers malbec, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, pinot noir, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and pinot gris across the La Flor, Pulenta Estate, Gran Pulenta Estate, Single Vineyard and Palma Carola lines, with Gran Corte as the flagship. Visits run by advance booking only, last about an hour and fifteen minutes, and combine a vineyard and cellar tour with a seated tasting facing the Andes.
