History
Founded in 1975
Bodega SinFín is a family-run winery founded in 1975 by Carlos Caselles, located in Rodeo del Medio, Maipú, about fifteen minutes from downtown Mendoza. The family farms its own vineyards across three properties — El Descanso, La Esperanza (1,200 m elevation) and La Ponderosa (900 m elevation) — growing Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Bonarda, Petit Verdot and Sauvignon Blanc, among other varieties. Visits include a tour of the winery, the teaching vineyard, an organic garden, the harvest area, tank room, barrel room, and an art cave, followed by tastings paired with alfajores or a board of cheeses and cold cuts. The winery also runs a regional lunch service (Almuerzos SinFín) and hosts events. Visits require advance booking by email or WhatsApp, with guided tours offered in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. The winery is well regarded by visitors, with more than 200 TripAdvisor reviews praising staff attentiveness and the upkeep of the grounds.
