Founded in 2000

Alfa Crux, known until 2018 as O. Fournier, is a winery in El Cepillo, San Carlos department, Uco Valley, Mendoza, sitting at roughly 1,100-1,200 meters above sea level with the Andes as a backdrop. The estate was founded in 2000 by the Spanish Ortega Gil-Fournier family and has belonged to Argentina's Agostino group since 2018. Its building, designed by architects Eliana Bórmida and Mario Yanzón, is known for gravity-flow winemaking and a striking modern design set into the landscape. It produces wines under the Alfa Crux, B Crux, Crux and Crux Xtra lines, centered on Malbec, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, alongside whites such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. A visit typically includes a guided tour of the winery, tastings at different levels, and lunch at Crux Cocina (formerly Urban), the estate's seasonal-cuisine restaurant with panoramic mountain views.
