Pan y Oliva is the restaurant and visitor center of Zuelo, the extra virgin olive oil project of the Zuccardi family (the same family behind Bodega Santa Julia, founded in 1963), located on Ruta Provincial 33, km 7.5, in the Beltrán district of Maipú, Mendoza. It is not a wine-producing bodega: it is a 220-hectare olive estate with its own mill, developed since 2004 at the foothills of the Andes. Visits combine a guided tour of the production plant and olive grove, a tasting of the season's oils, bike rides through the orchards, seasonal harvest experiences, and lunch at the Pan y Oliva restaurant, where seasonal dishes built around olive oil are paired with wines from Familia Zuccardi and Santa Julia. All experiences require advance reservation through the estate's online booking system.
