History

Founded in 2005

Bodega Domiciano is a family-run winery in Coquimbito, Maipú, celebrating its passion for wine since 2005 inside an original 1919 adobe-brick building now fitted with modern winemaking equipment. Its vineyards lie along the southern bank of the Mendoza River, on stony alluvial soils that concentrate fruit character. The winery is known for "night harvest," picking grapes before dawn to preserve aromatic freshness — a practice that names several of its lines (Cosecha Nocturna, Reserva Nocturna). It produces malbec, cabernet franc, syrah and chardonnay across red, white and sparkling styles, plus a traditional sweet mistela. Guided visits include a walk through the vineyard, tank room and barrel cellar, a tasting, and lunch at its on-site restaurant, offered Monday through Saturday; visits are arranged in advance by phone, WhatsApp or email with the tourism team.
